Local Business Spotlight: Beaver Mountain

Nestled in beautiful Logan Canyon, Beaver Mountain has been a beloved Cache Valley destination for generations. As the oldest family-owned ski resort in the United States, Beaver has built a reputation for incredible snow, friendly faces, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps locals and visitors coming back year after year.

For the Kristina Eck Team, Beaver Mountain is especially close to home. Kristina started working at Beaver Mountain as a teenager and continues to serve on ski patrol alongside her husband, Randy. Abby's wife, Perri, serves as Beaver Mountain's Human Resources Director, making Beaver Mountain a true family affair for our team.

During the winter, Beaver Mountain offers skiing, snowboarding, terrain parks, ski lessons, rentals, and some of the best powder skiing in northern Utah. With fewer crowds than many of Utah's larger resorts, visitors can spend more time enjoying the mountain and less time waiting in lift lines.

The fun doesn't stop when the snow melts. In the summer, Beaver Mountain transforms into a hub for outdoor recreation, offering camping, mountain biking, hiking access, live music events, and family-friendly activities surrounded by the stunning scenery of Logan Canyon.

One of the newest additions to Beaver Mountain is Marge's Cabin. This beautiful new lodge has elevated the guest experience with expanded gathering spaces, modern amenities, and breathtaking mountain views. Visitors can also enjoy fresh food, drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere at The 39er, Beaver Mountain's café and gathering spot, making it an even better place to spend time with family and friends.

Whether you're a lifelong local or visiting Cache Valley for the first time, Beaver Mountain offers something special in every season. From powder days in the winter to mountain adventures in the summer, it's a community tradition and one of the many reasons we love calling northern Utah home.
